We arrived at the call, found a very restricted drain line was able to blow it out with high pressure nitrogen. We had to cap off the tea because it was only being held by tap which made it leak in the first place. Because it wasn’t a proper seal. And the bottom of the pan secondary drain was only held by caulk. We replaced it with a T and kept it off with glue. They kept off the tee with PVC and a cap and put in a union. Also put a bull frog safety switch in the drain pan. System is now up and running //// Damage done to the garage side, but still Sheetrock. On the ceiling above water heater.
Service Report Arrived on site and performed a diagnostic evaluation of the HVAC system due to a no-cooling complaint. Upon inspection, found the system was not operating because of a failed Easy Start device that was preventing the compressor from starting properly. Removed the defective Easy Start module and tested system operation. After removal, the compressor started normally and the system resumed proper cooling operation. During the inspection, also found the air filter to be extremely dirty and heavily restricted. The clogged filter was significantly reducing airflow across the evaporator coil, causing the system to operate under excessive strain and reducing overall efficiency. Replaced the dirty filter with a new one and verified proper airflow throughout the system. Performed operational checks on the equipment and found the system is currently achieving a 20°F temperature differential between return and supply air, indicating proper cooling performance. Refrigerant opera
Arrived on site and performed evaporator coil replacement. After installation, the system was thoroughly evacuated, leak-checked, and verified for proper operation. Refrigerant charge was confirmed and all system components were inspected to ensure they were functioning within manufacturer specifications. Once repairs were completed, the system was started and monitored through a full cooling cycle. Supply air temperature at the nearest vent measured approximately 54°F, while the indoor ambient temperature was 75°F at the time of departure, indicating the system is actively cooling and performing as expected. Airflow across the evaporator coil is good, refrigerant pressures are within normal operating range, and no additional issues were observed during today’s visit. The condensate drainage system was also checked for proper operation, and all electrical connections were inspected. System is currently operating efficiently, cooling properly, and maintaining normal performance. Custo
Arrived on job and performed a full system evaluation due to the unit not cooling properly. Upon inspection, found the system low on refrigerant caused by a refrigerant leak within the system. Verified compressor operation and confirmed the compressor is currently functioning properly at this time. Further inspection indicated contamination and buildup present throughout the system, affecting overall performance and reliability. Discussed findings and system condition with customer. Due to the extent of the issues found, the job and recommendations were turned over to Andy for further evaluation, repair options, and next steps with the customer. System left in current operating condition upon departure.
Scope of Work Performed:Technician arrived on site and completed a comprehensive inspection of the main level HVAC system as well as the outdoor mini-split system. All components were evaluated for proper operation, performance, and manufacturer specifications. System Information: Main Level System: Year: 2021 Refrigerant Type: R-410A Efficiency: 14 SEER Configuration: Three-piece upflow system located in basement Outdoor Unit Location: Front side of residence Mini-Split System: Year: 2021 Findings: The main HVAC system is currently operating within manufacturer specifications and performing as designed. No major mechanical or performance-related issues were identified at this time. During inspection of the condensate drainage system, it was noted that a 3/8” copper drain line had been installed and welded in place. This configuration is not ideal for proper drainage and has contributed to a restriction/clog within the line. This condition can lead to improper condensate re
Arrived on site and spoke with the customer regarding a no-cooling concern. Performed a full system inspection and diagnostic. Determined that the issue originated in the outdoor unit, where the common wire running from the capacitor to the contactor was found to be burnt and compromised. Additionally, the capacitor was tested and confirmed to be faulty. Replaced the failed capacitor and repaired the damaged wiring. Completed a thorough system check after repairs to ensure proper operation. System is now running within normal parameters and cooling as intended. No further issues were observed at this time. System was operating properly upon departure.
