Job Locations and Reviews
Arrived on site to evaluate the customer’s equipment and found the system to be a commercial chiller application. After performing an initial inspection, advised the customer that this type of equipment falls outside the scope of services our company currently provides. At this time, we do not service, diagnose, or repair chiller systems. Recommended the customer contact a licensed commercial HVAC/chiller specialist for further diagnosis and repair to ensure the equipment is serviced properly and safely. No repairs were performed during today’s visit.
Arrived on site and performed a comprehensive inspection of the HVAC system. Upon evaluation, it was determined that the outdoor condensing unit is designed for R-22 refrigerant, while the indoor evaporator coil is rated for R-410A. Due to this mismatch, the system required adjustment to ensure proper compatibility and operation. To address this, the metering device (piston) was replaced with the appropriate size and type to match the R-22 system requirements. This adjustment allows the system to operate more efficiently and in line with the specifications of the outdoor unit. It was also noted that the indoor coil is a newer installation (2022), while the outdoor unit dates back to approximately 2004, contributing to the mismatch in system design and refrigerant type. Additionally, a full inspection of the ductwork was conducted. The duct system is showing significant signs of deterioration due to age, including structural breakdown and reduced integrity, which can negatively impact
Fast, cordial, and professional
