I prefor.ed a tune up for first responders and found the txv not operating correctly. I checked fir a loose bulb but it wasn't loose. At that time the coil started getting cold and I checked temps at discharge. 39,° where previous was 64° and a delta t of 4°. I i formed the cst the txv was working now but she needed a new one or the coil replaced.
Arrived today for an estimate customer is looking around for prices they have another appointment with different company.
Medium to difficult install 80% gas fired furnace vented into the chimney unfortunately this is no longer code and very dangerous we would have to go back with a 90% due to it being in the crawl space and no way to vent it without having to get an extra fan which are really expensive. Two and a half ton AC coil and condenser condenser is located on the back end of the home if you're looking at the condenser and look to the left there's a large opening to enter the crawl space crawl space has adequate space for working in however the shortest distance to the unit would be around the ductwork towards the front of the house and about a 25-ft crawl at all and the previous install has the unit facing the back exterior wall and duct work all around it we would have to face it towards the front exterior wall for ease of servicing. Some of the duct is crushed or looks more oblong but not completely destroyed and leaking there is asbestos tape on the old ductwork mask and full body protection h
