AC Repair Near You in Pelzer
Humidity from the Saluda River area means moisture control is critical.
If your AC runs constantly but doesn’t cool:
-
You may have restricted airflow
-
A failing compressor
-
Low refrigerant
-
Poor attic insulation affecting load
-
Or duct leakage
We test temperature differential, refrigerant levels, capacitor strength, and blower performance to determine the root cause.
Comfort here means balanced cooling, not just cold air.
Heat Pump Repair for Year-Round Efficiency
Heat pumps are common in Pelzer due to energy efficiency.
However, common failures include:
-
Defrost malfunction
-
Outdoor fan motor issues
-
Reversing valve sticking

If your heat pump switches to auxiliary heat frequently, it may be costing you more than it should.
We verify system calibration and performance metrics to keep energy usage optimized.

-
Thermostat controls
-
Electrical connections
-

Job Locations and Reviews
All of your guys went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right and that we were completely satisfied. Thank you so much!
Built a wooden skirt around access to keep animals from getting into crawlspace.
Installed new 3.5-ton heat pump air handler and new duct work. Installed new pad, whip, disconnect, thermostat, and 2 surge protectors. Ran new line set and thermostat wire to the outdoor heat pump. Installed new condensate pump with new vinyl tubing. Verified system in heating mode. System is operational at time of departure.
Performed maintenance on the heat pump split system in the attic. Amp draws, and capacitor readings are within factory specs. Pressures and amp draw for the outdoor unit are within factory specs and the system is heating properly with auxiliary backup. The heat strips are pulling proper amps when engaged the defrost cycle is proper within factory specs and set on 90 minutes defrost cycle. I did speak with Mr. Hopkins on Duct modification. The 14 inch that is capped off with the long runs attached. We would be coming in and reducing to 12 and then 10 and then capping the 10 and pulling the last four runs off of the new extension. What needs to be addressed within this duck modification is ensuring the bathroom in the office is getting ample air and CFM production for that space. List was made and for now, Mr. Hopkins just wishes to get the pricing on the duct, modification and surge protection. Mr. Hopkins feels like he should not have to pay for a disconnect because that should’ve been
Upon arrival I found the mini split to be empty of refrigerant. It's 20 yrs oldand a R22 system. I quoted to replace with a new mini split system at $3995 with new everthing associated with a new system. Cst is obtained more quotes to compare pricing. I said we can beat anyone's price as long its grom a reputable company.
Arrived at customers house, thunderstorm immediately started and I made contact with customer and it was agreed to be rescheduled. On 08/23/25 I arrived and made contact with homeowner for a tune up. Customer has a 3.5 Ton HP/AH. Upon inspection found the system extremely low on refrigerant. And notated that the fan motor and compressor are rusted and corroded due to overheating. Once at the air handler after pulling the cover off I noticed mold throughout the entire cabinet and evaporator coil. Due to the age and condition of the equipment a price of 10987 was given to me by Justin for replacement.
Arrived today found out the compressor is bad system is not under warranty tried to run GreenSky, but I couldn't get her set up. tried to sell the system for 10987. it's a 2-ton downflow heat pump system. Ran breeze lease didn't work out. Told owner that Justin will follow up with her today as soon he gets off from meeting. Collected 39.00 today, she paid in cash.
At this location, I performed a tune up and presented with easy start, surge protection, 99 maintenance fee, high performance Filter, coil sterilizer, and bacteria and virus eliminator. Customer has to talk with the husband.
I preformed a system tune-up up at this location and presented with duct work rework to help with cold /hot spots Also suggested surge protection. Others products was available but interested at this time.
