A bad batch of thermostats.

Arrived on site and performed a full diagnostic evaluation of the HVAC system after the customer reported the unit was not operating. Upon inspection, the system was found to be non-functional due to a faulty thermostat (T-stat) that was not properly communicating with the equipment. Removed and replaced the defective thermostat under warranty. After installation, tested the system thoroughly to ensure proper operation, including checking communication, system response, and overall performance. System is now running properly and operating within manufacturer specifications at time of departure. Customer was informed of work completed and system status.

This behavior indicates a faulty thermocouple, preventing the system from maintaining proper operation. Advised the customer that the thermocouple will need to be replaced to restore reliable system performance. The required replacement part will be ordered, and installation will be scheduled upon arrival. System will be returned to proper working condition once repairs are completed.
