Arrived 8-29-25 for promotional first responder tune-up. Checked system in cooling. Checked filter condition. Checked electrical connections and components. Checked blower condition and amperage. Flushed / vacuumed drain line. Checked condition of coils - cleaned outdoor condenser coil with water only. Checked condition of lineset. Checked condition of ductwork. Checked amperage of compressor and condenser fan. Checked refrigerant pressures. Checked indoor humidity level. Checked temperature split. ————— Upon arrival, customer stated downstairs system is inoperable and has been out of commission for a good bit of time - causing upstairs system to operate harder than normal to compensate. Found microbial growth and dust/ debris buildup in upstairs air handler and duct system, causing blower motor to overamp and consume more electricity. Found main level system was a 1996 R22 Heat Pump / Air Handler that was completely out of refrigerant, had mangled / bare thermostat wire outside

Checked amperage of compressor and condenser fan. Checked refrigerant pressures. Checked indoor humidity level. Checked temperature split. ————— Found microbial growth within the system. Found condensate pump operating harder than necessary and overheating. Found compressor needs an easy start kit to prevent overamping and harsh run conditions. Found supply plenum for main level system needs to be repaired + mastic sealed. Found neither system had surge protection. ————— Recommended BreatheEasy packages to customer.

Arrived 8-13-25 for system replacement. Removed existing and set new equipment. Soldered copper lineset to units. Pressure tested to 300psi for 10 minutes. Pressure test passed. Pulled vacuum to 400 microns. Released charge. Standard low and high voltage reconnection. standard reconnection on drain lines, and vacuumed drain line. Installed fire alarm and refrigerant leak detector. Reconstructed supply and return plenums. Insulated lineset where necessary. Installed water safety switches. Installed new WiFi thermostat, and programmed to system specifications. Tested system functions. ————— Will return within the next few days to reconnect heat side of system.
