Installation of new 60 amp service disconnect and serve protection in the crawlspace

Installation of new thermostat to replace the failing stat that is currently up that has been under heavy usage for quite some time. Installation of new inducer housing with draft motor to replace the broken draft motor where the wheel has freed itself from the motor due to rust. This will require approximately two hours of labor.

Removed and replaced 2 ton duct system. Installed 15 ft of hard pipe trunkline. Reconnected 6 supply runs. Upsized and replaced return as well return pipe. Replaced square to rounds and resealed flashing to package unit.

Charge system 1 pound of 410 a. sub cool super heat is off. Pressures are low for the ambient temp outdoors.

Installed drain plugs in evaporator coil that were missing from initial installation.

Bypass humidifier to be installed on the supply Plenum, customer provided

Repairing the end of the flex run good enough to repair without replacing the full run. This was almost inaccessible due to how low the crawlspace is on the front corner of the house, but ensuring proper secure and seal of the 6 inch flex run to the boot of the supply vent. Screws straps and tape was used. Please note that it looks like plumbers. Just literally jerked it out of their way tearing the end of the flex run off and leaving it sealed to the boot. Everything had to be removed in the end of the flex repaired before connection.

Replaced PTAC unit.

Installation of 60 amp circuit from the outdoor panel to the heat pump package unit. This will require 60 amp breaker to replace the current 40 amp breaker and the outdoor panel and wired to the 60 amp breaker inside the unit for the 15 KW heat kit. -the 60 amp breaker installed with designated circuit of number six wire was for dedicated heat kit power with its own breaker coming from the panel to the unit breaker which is 60 A. System must have its own designated power for heat pump and auxiliary/emergency heat. Heat pump designated power 30 amp, auxiliary heat/emergency 60 amp.

Installation of baffle kit for extreme temperatures to protect the unit running in AC mode year-round to maintain the 65°

Installation of new one and a half ton mini split outdoor unit and evaporator coil blower head for the room where the data is stored to maintain 65° year-round

System is making a noise and after eliminating the fact that it’s possible it was the condenser fan. I found that it was actually the reversing valve. The reverse and valve are not opening all the way up in heat mode and is screaming by and we have gas being trapped as well because the line set got so hot that it melted the armor flex off of it and coated the copper like it was spray painted black. I will be ordering a new reverse in valve with new coil pack and try to see if the new coil pack will open and close the reverse and valve all the way both ways for both heat and cooling cycles as an attempt to fix the issue before changing the reversing valve altogether. System is performing properly, but with a malfunctioning reversing valve. Model and serial number are uploaded to documents.

Two pressure switches, two high limit switches on the blower and one rollout switch per stage above the burners. Belt replacement for stage two blower and a very much needed burner cleaning for both stages.

The system here is a mini split, the model is 2014, which is impressive due to it not being built for what it’s been used for. It is not ideal to run in cooling mode year-round due to the extreme temperatures within the winter and trying to maintain 65° inside of a data room. Key factors need to be taken in to consideration of baffles being put in front of the unit to keep wind off the unit during the winter time as well as consideration to replace the mini split here now with a system that is built for extreme temperatures, which will hold up to the fact that it runs in AC year-round. Low outdoor ambient kits installed from day one, baffle kits to keep the wind off the unit outdoors installed from day one and the system itself built for those type conditions is key factors in considering replacing the system. Having said that the 2014 system is going on 12 years old of extreme use. We’ve had 14 winners where this thing has struggled to maintain cooling mode with outdoor cold temperatu

Performed maintenance to the two systems for this store. The newer system is working properly in all order of operation for startup and holding the flame for proper heat distribution to the building. This 2 1/2 ton supplies the front portion and customer welcome area of the building. The rear system that heats the back of the building as well as most of the smaller rooms for service had to be shut down due to a bona fide hole in the heat exchanger. Pictures are uploaded to documents so I did have to leave the gas shut off. The girls smelt gas and some of the rooms, and I would have been looking at the heat exchanger regardless, but this made me go straight to the heat exchanger instead of wasting a maintenance and I did find the bona fide holes at that time again pictures are uploaded the documents, and a quote has been sent. Replacement will be $15,987 and please note that this is on a 12-foot rack off the ground and the power is 208 - 230-volt gas pack “residential style”

Perform maintenance for the customer on her furnace in the attic. This is at 80% furnace, and all orders of operation were proper with factory specs and startup and holding the flame. The gas pressures seemed a little high and I checked them at 4.8 and backed them down just due to the flame being fat and uncontrolled by the burners with the flames touching in between giving it near rollout. I backed the pressures down to 3.4 giving it four solid flames, more controlled and ample for the heat needed for the home. I went over a list with the customer and she leans more towards the bottom portion of the list due to it, covering a few things within the list and she knows that she needs the parts that isn’t covered under warranty as soon as possible just to ensure that there’s no failure to the system, holding the flame by replacing the flame sensor and lighting by replacing the spark igniter. Customer son is returning home, and she wish to go over the list with her son. He helps her decide

All the information was gathered to perform a concise breakdown on the quote to get approval for. Best recommendation would be to replace this equipment as it should’ve been long ago, but if we’re going to just repair and keep doing the temporary measures, I will absolutely need the parts that I am asking for to be approved to ensure the safety and the order of operation for startup and holding the flame for each stage of heat in their chambers as well as the transfer of heat off of the exchanger and the safety measures and switches that holds that safety true to the cycle. Pictures and data plate are uploaded to documents. Please be aware that the data plate is completely weathered. I zoomed in as good as I could for a clear shot of model and serial number, but the age of this equipment and the condition of this equipment is not allowing me to get exact part numbers off of some of this. I took video and pictures of what’s needed and why it’s needed and they’re uploaded to documents.

System has issues with stage one and stage two heating. Stage one will need a pressure switch and a flame sensor but highly recommend going ahead and replacing both limits at the same time. Stage two needs a high limit at the blower as well as a belt for that blower. There is a belt present that can be put on when the sensors are changed out. Stage two also should have the flame sensor and pressure switch replaced because they are to the point of failure and intermittently do. I have a list of parts and will put together a quote to be approved, but the workers would like to see a quick response to replacing the parts for tomorrow because the system can run after these things are addressed and replaced. Please note that the heat exchangers are newer, but the rest of the system is not, the burners need cleaned very bad because the ports are mostly clogged, causing the flames to not be consistent and going straight into the chambers causing it to hit rollout as well. Spoke with Justin and Sean was having an issue getting access to the main house to look at that system. Customer needs to be rescheduled knocked on the door, called and no answer. Customer has another system on the back building that I did get a chance to check for heating but not the main house. Arrived back at customers house on Saturday knocked on the door several times called the number on file no answer at all. Called Justin again and informed him I’m unable to get in touch with the homeowner. Waited an additional 30 mins knocked on the door once more and left.

Gas valve installation on the tank water heater/40 gallon

We need to put in a work order for a designated power source for the heat kit on the package unit. Customer states she will be out of town next week, but she can get her neighbor to come over if we want to set up a day for next week. Room will need to be made in this panel with slim line breakers. There is room to change out 130 slim line and another 40 slim line to create the room to add our designated power source. This job will require our unit to be running on a 30-amp breaker for the heat pump and a 50-amp breaker for the 7.5 KW heat kit Please note that the breaker box is directly to the right of the package unit The wire that is present now is number six wire going to the 60-amp breaker. So, if we just changed that breaker there on the number six wire to a 50-amp breaker, we could use it on the heat kit and just add a disconnect and eight wire to a 30-amp breaker for the heat pump. Materials will be approximately 15 feet of number eight wire, a disconnect and a liquidity and fit
