Flushed / vacuumed drain line. Checked condition of coils - cleaned outdoor condenser coil with water only. Checked condition of lineset. Checked condition of ductwork. Checked amperage of compressor and condenser fan. Checked refrigerant pressures. Checked indoor humidity level. Checked temperature split. ————— Found 1990 R22 3-piece 2.5ton system. Found condenser had been struck by a vehicle and is now suffering from restricted pressures, along with causing both the compressor and condenser fan motor to overamp. Found heat exchangers (chambers) rusted internally, and rattling. Found every time system was touched, it appeared that something had collapsed internally. Found single-wall being used for flue pipe. Found found evaporator coil freezing up on u-bends, and rusting. Found b
Arrived 8-29-25 on call for no cooling. Found compressor not coming on. Found battery cap reading lower than normal. Found condensate pump overworking / overheating, with clogged vinyl tubing. Found condenser fan motor rusted. Found ductwork beginning to collapse on return side. ————— Recommended replacement compressor with battery cap, surge protector and easy start. Recommended replacement condensate pump overworking+ drain clean. Recommended high efficiency filter cabinet with duct repair / modification. Recommended BreatheEasy + coil sterilization to improve indoor air quality. Recommended maintenance club to customer for routine maintenance, priority service, and discounted repair prices. ————— Customer approved price on mandatory repairs.
